Pre-approve someone or assign a role before their first sign-in.
School-wide features
Turn features off for everyone on a domain. Teachers can still override per room or per student. Chips cycle: Inherited → Off → On.
Bulk add users
Paste a list of email addresses (commas, spaces, or new lines) and pick the role they all get. Existing accounts are skipped.

Create a role
Pick an id (short, no spaces), a display name, and the permissions the role grants.
Approved domains
Anyone signing in with a Google account on these domains is admitted automatically (as a student, until you change their role). Accounts outside these domains wait in the Users list for approval.
